What does Shea Butter do in PMU GOO? Let me tell you!
Shea Butter is an amazing hypoallergenic tree nut extract made for the West African shea tree. There are no cases in medical literature documenting a shea butter allergy, making it the perfect base for PMU GOO! Shea butter has acted as an emulsifier in cosmetics for centuries. Not only is it high in vitamins and fatty acids, it smooths into the skin to soothe it without clogging pores. Since shea is naturally derived, there are no chemical irritants that will cause skin dryness either!
Shea butter rapidly melts and absorbs into the skin to restore the fatty barrier that protects it from the outside world. This helps the body hold in moisture without leaving a greasy or oily residue behind. Shea butters plant esters are anti-inflammatory and tell cytokines (inflammatory cells) to slow production. High levels of vitamins A & E act as antioxidants to decrease cell dullness and premature aging. Vitamin A also boosts skin plumpness through collagen production and promoting cell regeneration. Shea butter helps skin cells slough off and decreases the appearance of scarring, fine lines, and offers SPF 3-4 of sunscreen protection!
